Artist Statement:
The images that I capture are already snapped in my minds eye. Subliminally influenced by the masters of street photography and abstract expressionists, I strive to communicate a mood with images that draw the viewer into the frame.
A center piece of the new WTC. This year marks the 20 year anniversary of the event. The piece titled "Urban Pop" pays tribute to the "New" downtown which also is part of the areas renaissance with its architecture and art scene. The 3rd piece titled "Cautious Reopening" remembers the locked down NYC street during Covid. With traffic lights turning yellow and green, and iconic celebratory balloons rising, NYC slowly and methodically is revived.
