JJ Gonzalez Acosta is a visual artist from Valencia, Venezuela, who began his artistic journey at age 5, learning from his mother and aunts. He earned a B.A. in Arts Education and a master's degree in management. In 2017, he moved to Orlando, Florida, where he taught art and origami. After relocating to New York City in 2022, his work was featured in Times Square, Art on the Ave, and Sing for Hope. He also teaches art in the public library system and paints Broadway portraits.
